crawl

Cramps a bit easier - nothing else has happened. I spent yesterday in bed and am planning on having an easy day today. B is coming down here, to Ma's, this evening after his show finishes. He's leaving his car in Birmingham and coming on the train - then he'll drive us all home tomorrow.

Thank you for all the kind words. I feel less confused and distressed - I think that the increased medication is probably kicking in and I have had some reiki. Still feel sick, though. Someone remind me how much I hate being pregnant if I ever talk about doing this again, please?

Oh, and Leo has started crawling. He can only go in reverse so far; but that doesn't seem to be fazing him :).

  1. It took me so long to write a response to your other message (since last night anyway!) that you have now posted again and say you are feeling a little easier regarding your situation.

Crisis points will always happen and they are the worst. However, you still have the whole underlying issue of being overstretched so maybe when times are less of a crisis is a better time to really think about what to do.

It is one thing doing so much because you want to do it and another because you are in a position and it has to be done. These are very special years and never to be gotten back again. Your priority should be your children and in order to do that in a way that is right for you all and for that, you need to allow yourself some space to actually enjoy it.

So many people are over-stretched and they manage. Or is that survive? So you can get through it too. But you are sufficiently "alternative" that maybe surviving is not enough?

I always look at some of the prominent people out there whose fortunes go up and mega down and somehow they find a way out and up again. So just maybe, you can all walk away from it all (in a way!) and start again small? Take out all the pressures and give yourselves some peace of mind and enjoy the simpler pleasures of life? Remembering that in such a situation you might not be able to have the money to fill the vehicle up with fuel and go visiting when you wished.

Also, bear in mind, that maybe children of this age might not be your cup of tea. Simple as that. Even your own! Some people prefer the older age range and others the babies. So it is just a matter of getting through because they will grow regardless!

And I think I told you my second pregnancy was cr*p with all capital letters. Feeling sick and cruddy is no help when you have a young child especially one as young as Leo.

Mega hugs and energy. You are an amazing person and quite inspiring - even with your off times! :-)

  3. *hugs*

Glad things have eased a little.

Strange, they all seem to start crawling in reverse...

  5. Glad to hear the cramping has eased off, but still - STAY IN BED AND DO NOTHING. NOTHING. REPEAT: NOTHING.

And yes - I am fully aware of the hypocrisy of that statement. I find hypocrisy works best when one simply gives in to it. :)
