not actually an issue

Not great today. Had a lovely weekend, but now I'm home I'm stressed about:

  • cash flow and paying bills - not actually an issue as there's money in the bank.
  • looking after the broody hens - not actually an issue, as B is going to help me shift them about.
  • putting the sealed bid in for the house - not actually an issue as we have decided what we are going to do.
  • waiting to see whether the people who came last week who like the house actually want to buy it - not actually an issue as there's nothing we can do about it.
  • dentist appointment this afternoon - not actually an issue as I am no longer petrified of the dentist per se; it's just that it involves talking to people and that's not high on my list of capabilities this morning.
I feel a bit sick, my head is buzzing and I'm having trouble keeping hold on reality and not curling up in to a foetal position and crying. A nice cup of tea and a gentle wander to talk to the chickens is probably what's needed.

Also, some of my nappies have arrived. Well, not MY nappies exactly. But you know what I mean.

  1. Hope the dentists went well, and that you have been able to have your cup of tea and your commune with your chickens.
    And that you're less stressed.

  3. hope you had the cuppa before going to the dentist - I find it quite difficult to tea, cake or fags after the (mega-rich, from my purse) dentist has injected stuff.

also, hope you are feeling big virtual hugs all around you.

after the chickens, can you just take yourself off to bed, and remain in the foetal position until it has passed? love kaz xx

I am so sorry to be a day late finding this, when that sort of getting all lost and kerfuffled needs virtual hugs on an instant feed.

Have a bundle of cyber hugs and encouragement anyway, and please observe, your one-way communication skills were working at their peak (the blog) and anyway confused and confusing people whose aura, stance, eyes and mouth all scream completely different things deserve to be looked at funny, so don't feel its your fault when souls like that make you take a step back!

    Bless 'em

  7. Buggery bollocks, is what I say. Might I suggest a nice sit in the sunshine (with hat, naturally), with a cup of something cooling - perhaps mint tea? - and a good book?

Oh, and more info on that rather mysterious 'what we are going to do' bit about the house, please! :)
