here i am

We're in.

Kate and Vic have just left; they've been stars and have generally packed/unpacked, thrown things away and provided nourishment at regular intervals.

The house smells faintly of damp alsation; but the cats seem to be quite settled.

I'm on a dial-up - it's a bit of a come-down from my usual 2M broadband, which won't be reconnected for another week. Hence everthing is rather slow and I don't think I'll be doing much with the internet until it's re-installed. I will take some photos in the meantime, to upload when I'm back on.

Must go and put up more shelves ....

  1. Oh yeah, Wales' broadband max is around 512k (well, it is here).

Welcome to the most awesome country in the world, you stalker :)

  3. Having just moved myself, albeit in with my parents, I understand how you feel. My move was a bit surreal because I walked into a totally finished room. By the way - I *heart* Wales! I'm a quarter welsh, and lived in Cardiff for a few months.

  5. Mostly settled in with contented cats sounds very successful to me.

I spent only a few hours in Wales, but what I saw was incredible, and I intend to go back.

  9. 'L'Arôme de damp alsation' sounds just perfect. You should market it as a personlised body lotion or perhaps a tailored face cleanser.

Best wishes with the shelves etc.

  11. I can still only dream of broadband!
Cats will very soon settle in and continue to rule the roost. Good luck with shelving, mine usually falls down!
Congratulations on your new home...any chance of some elderberry wine being opened?
